Applicant organization proposing the project: State educational institution "Kindergarten No. 203 of Minsk"
Project goals:
creating conditions for optimizing, strengthening and expanding the educational space of an institution of preschool education, by creating an object-spatial environment (sensory room) consisting of various kinds of stimulants, to improve the quality and accessibility of education for people with special needs of psychophysical development (hereinafter referred to as OPFR)
Tasks planned for implementation within the framework of the project:
- learning based on sensory stimulation;
- psychotherapy;
- social adaptation (for example, children with autistic disorders);
- promoting the physical and mental development of children with OPFR, preventing the occurrence of secondary deviations in development;
- equipping the educational process with software and methodological support, taking into account the current level of development of science, the needs of children with special needs, the introduction of modern educational technologies;
- improve the logistical support of the project implementation;
- to create a consulting and methodological center in order to provide scientific, methodological, psychological, pedagogical and logistical support for continuous early comprehensive care for children with OPFR;
- partial redevelopment of the group (room).
Target group:
Children with special needs of psychophysical development.
Interaction with other educational institutions will be carried out through excursions, master classes, open lectures, competitions, round tables, consultations and sharing of experience with colleagues and parents.
Brief description of activities within the framework of the project:
Creation of a relaxation room, psychological relief and a multi-sensory room. The room will be equipped according to a standard or individual project, where the child or child + parent, staying in a safe comfortable environment filled with a variety of stimuli, will independently or accompanied by a specialist explore the environment. The sensory room (hereinafter SC) will be a powerful tool for expanding and developing worldview, sensory and cognitive development,conducting psychological consultations. The environment of the SC will contribute to the normalization of the mental state of children with special needs of psychophysical development.
Expected results. Reduction of aggressiveness and anxiety, improvement of emotional state, removal of nervous excitement and anxiety, normalization of sleep, activation of brain activity, acceleration of recovery processes after diseases. The use of the room will serve as an additional therapy tool, increase the effectiveness of any activities aimed at improving the mental and physical health of the pupils.
